A YouMultiply Signature Engagement
Four weeks of focused work. One unforgettable week in the African bush. Bring your spouse.
A four-week engagement that turns your highest-leverage opportunity into a costed plan for a $100k+ growth initiative, including a week at a five-star safari lodge in South Africa’s Waterberg with your senior team, your YouMultiply team, and the partner you share your life with. Real strategy, real prototyping, real safari. Backed by our Confidence Guarantee.
Most leaders facing a major technology or AI investment decision do one of two things. They commit before validating: they pick an opportunity that sounds promising, brief their team, and start implementing, only to discover at $80k of spend that the opportunity was not the highest leverage they had available, or that the math does not work, or that the approach has hidden problems they could not see at the start. Or they analyze without building: they engage strategy work that produces a recommendation document no one has ever pressure-tested against the reality of implementation. The document gets filed; the decision keeps getting deferred.
The problem with both paths is the same: a $100k+ implementation decision gets made on something that has not actually been validated. Either you are building without strategic proof, or you are planning without practical proof. In both cases you find out you got it wrong only after the spend, the time, and the team commitment have already been made.
Real artifacts. Real decisions. Real momentum. Not a slide deck.
An opportunity map scored across market need, workflow friction, strategic leverage, and outcome impact
A validated solution concept and prototype direction
A 90-day implementation roadmap with named milestones
An investment case and resourcing plan for the implementation phase
A week with peer founders running similarly ambitious organizations, and the relationships that come from working alongside them
Each week builds toward the next. By the end of week four you will have a costed plan that your leadership team can sign off on.
Leadership alignment, discovery, and a candidate opportunity inventory. We meet your team, your data, and your systems.
Opportunity scoring, stakeholder interviews, and prioritization. We identify the single highest-leverage starting point.
Solution concept, prototype direction, and technical viability. We pressure-test the idea before anyone commits to it.
A 90-day implementation plan, an investment case, and a formal presentation to your leadership team. The point at which you decide to invest, or invoke the Confidence Guarantee.
One of the four weeks is run in person. It is where the real magic happens.
A week together at the lodge (your leadership team, your YouMultiply team, and, if you choose, your spouse or partner) produces outcomes that no amount of remote work can match.
The week is built around generous time. A handful of focused working sessions each day cover the strategic ground we need to cover. The rest of the day is yours: for the lodge, for the bush, for the cohort dinners that become some of the most useful conversations of the week. One day is reserved for the full safari experience. The intensity of the work is real. The intensity of the experience around it is part of the design, not separate from it.
Spouses and partners are encouraged, almost assumed. The Sprint’s South Africa week is designed for it. The pricing for one person or two sharing is included in the engagement fee, because the founder decisions that come out of a Sprint are usually decisions a founder makes with the person they’re building a life with.
During working sessions, your partner has full access to the lodge and the reserve: pool, deck, library, lounge, the lodge’s hospitality team. Additional activities can be organized on request: bush walks, game drives during your working time, spa arrangements, and excursions. Evenings, the cohort dinners, and the safari day are wonderful experiences to share.
You can host us at your office, or we can host you in South Africa at our partner safari lodge. We recommend the South Africa option wherever feasible. It produces the deepest focus and the strongest cohort outcomes.
Four-week engagement with the on-site week hosted at Hippo Lakes Luxury Safari Lodge in the malaria-free Waterberg region. Working sessions held in the lodge’s Executive Boardroom: sessions you’ll remember more vividly than any boardroom you’ve worked in. Generous time for the lodge, the bush, and the cohort dinners that become some of the most useful conversations of the week. One day reserved for the full safari experience, with the chance to see all of the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino.
Includes lodge accommodation and all activities for one person or two sharing. Your team covers their own flights.
Additional people are welcome at $7,500 each.
Four-week engagement with the on-site week run at your office. Our flights and accommodation billed at cost; everything else included.
Hippo Lakes Luxury Safari Lodge sits in the Waterberg region of South Africa, a UNESCO-listed biosphere reserve, malaria-free, three hours from Johannesburg. The lodge holds a 5-out-of-5 Tripadvisor rating and ranks in the top 10% of global destinations.
The work. Working sessions are held in the lodge’s Executive Boardroom, a private 750 sq ft space with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out into the bush. The boardroom is a real working environment built for focused strategizing. The windows look out over the bush itself: bushveld, distant hills, occasional wildlife on the horizon. This is where the strategizing gets done.
The lodge. Luxury tented suites, gourmet cuisine, an experienced hospitality team. The lodge handles everything you don’t need to think about (transfers from Johannesburg, dietary requirements, evening logistics), so the only thing you’re managing is the work and the experience around it.
The bush. Game drives led by experienced rangers. Bush walks. Sundowners on the deck as the sun goes down over the Waterberg. The Sky Safari aerial perspective of the reserve. The Tabletop Mountain sundowner vantage point. These are evening and weekend experiences: available, included, and unforgettable.
The safari. One day of the week is reserved for the full safari experience. The Waterberg is Big Five territory: lion, leopard, rhinoceros including the endangered black rhino, elephant, and Cape buffalo. Most attendees see at least three of the five within a single drive. Some see all five.

At the end of the Sprint, we present the roadmap and business case to your leadership team. If at that moment you do not have full confidence that implementing what you have built with us will multiply your business, we refund the Sprint fee in full.
Travel, lodge, and other out-of-pocket expenses are non-refundable in the event of a refund. The guarantee covers the Sprint engagement; outcomes from a future implementation depend on execution and are addressed separately in the implementation contract.
The Sprint is built for founders who want both the rigor of senior consulting and the kind of working experience worth flying to South Africa for. A Multiplication Sprint is a strong fit when:
The Sprint is built primarily for Christian-led and Christian-owned founder businesses. YouMultiply is built on a Christian foundation, which shapes how we think about technology and people. We don’t require our clients to share our faith. We do require shared standards: excellent work, clear communication, wise stewardship, measurable outcomes.
At minimum the CEO or executive sponsor and two to three senior leaders whose teams will be most affected by the implementation.
A two- or three-person senior team led by Louis Barry. Composition depends on the nature of the opportunity. We ensure at least one engineer or solutions architect is present alongside the strategy lead.
It is a planning estimate, not a quote. The Sprint produces a costed business case with an investment range; the actual implementation contract is scoped and quoted separately. Most Sprint outputs land between $80k and $400k for implementation, depending on scope.
You decide. The Sprint is designed to produce a plan you can act on with any capable implementation partner, including, but not exclusively, YouMultiply. If you choose to implement with us, the implementation contract begins where the Sprint ends.
Because the Hippo Lakes setting produces a depth of focus that no urban hotel conference room can match. The Waterberg is one of the world’s premier safari destinations: a 650,000-hectare UNESCO biosphere, malaria-free, with no vaccinations required for entry from the United States or most other countries, three hours from Johannesburg. We believe the people who do their hardest thinking deserve the kind of working week worth flying continents for. The Big Five at the end of the week isn’t a recreational consolation; it’s a deliberate part of the design. The work is intensive. The experience around it is too.
Encouraged, almost assumed. The Sprint’s South Africa week is designed for it, and the pricing includes accommodation and activities for one person or two sharing. During working sessions, your partner has full access to the lodge (pool, deck, library, lounge), and additional activities can be organized on request, including bush walks, game drives during your working time, or excursions. Evenings, the cohort dinners, and the safari day are wonderful experiences to share. If you’d like to bring more than your spouse (adult children, business partners, parents), additional people are welcome at $7,500 each.
The Waterberg is one of the world’s premier malaria-free safari destinations. No anti-malarial medication needed. No vaccinations are required for entry from the United States or most other countries. US, UK, EU, Canadian, and Australian passport holders do not need a visa for stays under 90 days. The lodge sits within a private reserve with experienced guides, and the wider Waterberg region, a 650,000-hectare UNESCO biosphere, is one of the safest and most accessible safari areas in Africa. From your home airport you fly direct or one-stop to Johannesburg; from there, Hippo Lakes coordinates ground transfers for the three-hour drive to the lodge. The logistics are simpler than most international business trips.
At the end of week four, we present the roadmap and business case to your leadership team. After the presentation we ask explicitly whether you have full confidence in what we have produced together. If you do not, we refund the Sprint fee in full. The decision is yours, with the full output in front of you.
The Audit reviews something you have already built. The Sprint identifies and validates something new to build. If your Audit verdict comes back “recommend rebuild,” a Sprint is often the right next step. We use it to scope what the right replacement system actually is, rather than rebuilding the wrong thing twice.
A Fit Call is a 30-minute conversation with CEO Louis Barry to understand your opportunity, your context, and whether a Multiplication Sprint is the right next step. The trip to South Africa, the cohort, the work, the safari, the costed plan, the week with your spouse. All of it starts with a 30-minute conversation. It is the start, not the commitment.
